This is a full-time position, with the following benefits: Paid Time off (Vacation and Sick), Insurance Benefits (Medical and Dental).

The job duties/responsibilities of a Law Firm Receptionist include:

  • Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival at reception.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Assisting clients and visitors with the location of legal staff.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments.
  • Observing business etiquette, and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking.
  • Preparing meeting facilities, and arranging refreshments, if required.
  • Time/billing entry.

Applicants must have:

  • Familiarity with legal terms, legal documents, and filing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive experience working with word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, and appointment scheduling and call forwarding systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization.
  • An ability to work in a fast-pace environment, often times juggling multiple tasks at once.
  • An understanding that they are the first voice any potential, or current, client hears when the phone is answered.
  • A motivated work ethic.
  • Dependability.

*Prior experience as a legal receptionist will be advantageous.*
